Based in North London, the clients had not touched their main Living Room space in over 20 years. NS Interior Design was appointed to manage the entire refurbishment of this space. The client’s brief was to redesign the complete room ensuring it had a timeless and luxurious feel whilst being sensitive to the fact this is their everyday space. For this project, we completely stripped out the room to its bare canvas, providing new wall and floor finishes along with the final touches of furniture and soft furnishings throughout. The entire process was designed and coordinated with the contractors leaving the client with a beautiful room to relax in.

As an extension of the refurbishment, the client wished to update their hallway. With a typical old and heavy banister and insufficient storage below, NS Interior Design completely opened this area out by introducing traditional style spindles and a dark handrail. The storage below was designed in a way to maximise all the area below. The final touch was a subtle staircase runner.
